Your site is really great, to make it more efficient, may I suggest that the 'Hide ladies previously corresponded with', is raised to the top of the search page so that you do not have to scroll to the bottom of the page, to activate it. Or better still, put it at the top of the page and when clicked it is applied to all the pages in that sort group.

You should really offer a 15-30 day free trail period. It would be a great business move. It gives a user the opportunity to communicate to people with any membership then at the end of the grace period the person has the choice to buy a membership or stop the connection that they've made with a potential loved one. -
